How do I enable smart charging?

Maximize Off-Peak Benefits with Smart Charging:
If you have a dual tariff, we recommend using Smart Charging to make the most of your off-peak hours. Here’s how to set it up:
  1. Open the Electric Miles App: Go to the Overview page.
  2. Add Your Energy Supplier and Tariff: Input this information so the app can calculate your peak/off-peak hours and costs.
  3. Activate Smart Charging: Tap on "Smart Charge" from the Overview page.
  4. Enable Smart Charging: Tap the "Turn on Smart Charging" tab.
  5. Select Off-Peak: Choose "Off-Peak" to ensure your charging aligns with lower-cost hours.
  6. Set the Desired Time: Specify the time for your car to be ready, ideally after your off-peak period ends.
  7. Save Your Settings:
    • Ensure you select the correct tariff to trigger the session at the right time.
    • Make sure Restricted Charging Hours are turned off or do not conflict with your Smart Charging schedule.
