How do I get my charger into pairing mode?
To put your EV charger into pairing mode, follow these steps:
Turn Off and On: Turn off the charger from the power supply, wait a moment, and then turn it back on. This will initiate pairing mode, which lasts for about 60 seconds.
Check for Hotspot Emission:
On your phone, go to Wi-Fi settings and search for available networks.
Look for the charger's serial number in the list of networks. Note: Do not connect to this network; it’s just for identification.
Once you see the charger's serial number, return to the Installer Miles app.
If You Can't See the Serial Number:
Turn off the Wi-Fi router.
Turn off the charger from the power supply.
After a short interval, turn the charger back on.
Note: If the Wi-Fi router is left on, the charger may connect to it quickly, preventing the hotspot signal from being emitted for pairing.
