For Installers: Here is a high-level overview of the commissioning process:
  1. Installation: The EV charger is installed at a new or existing build.
  2. Configuration: Within the app, parameters are configured. These parameters include:
    • Network setup
    • Load management*
    • Disabling restricted hours for test charging
    • Additional settings such as cable lock and charging mode
  3. Parameter Transfer: The configured parameters are then sent to the charger.
  4. Completion: Customers are informed of the EV charger installation upon completion.
*In this context, load management refers to the process of balancing the supply of charge.

For Drivers: Within the app, drivers can configure the following parameters:
  • Network setup
  • Charging mode
By using the Installer Miles app, both installers and drivers can efficiently set up and manage their EV chargers, ensuring a smooth and effective experience.
