Enterprise Admin controls the Offline Authorization setting as a global control. CPO Admins will be unable to enable the Offline Authorization setting.
The Offline Authorization field (Enable / Disable) controls whether the tag works when the system is offline. The tag is added to an offline cache list, and chargers can authorize sessions using the last downloaded cache file during internet outages.
During offline authorization: The charger checks if the tag exists in the local cache. It verifies the cache has not expired (7-day limit). It logs the session locally for later synchronization.
In the scenario “Tag suspended while offline session active”: An admin suspends the tag in the portal. The system immediately pushes a cache update to online chargers. For offline chargers, the session continues until connectivity is restored. When ...
