EVIQ Bluetooth Commissioning
The charger isn't responding immediately after the success screen. What should I do?
After commissioning, the charger may take an additional 1 or 2 minutes to boot up completely. Please allow it time to initialise.
How do I know if the commissioning was successful?
Once commissioned, the screen will automatically advance to the successful installation screen, indicating that the charger is ready for use.
How long does the commissioning process take?
The data transfer and commissioning process will take approximately 1 to 3 minutes. Please be patient and do not interrupt the process.
What happens after the network is set up?
Continue with the charger configuration setup as normal, and then proceed to commissioning by tapping the 'Next' button at the bottom of the screen.
How do I set up the charger's network connection
After pairing, go to the network setup widget, and press on wifi network setup button. Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the router password, then press 'Connect'.
What do I do when I see a 'Bluetooth Pairing Request' pop-up?
This pop-up is asking you to connect your mobile device to the charger via Bluetooth. Enter PIN “123456” and tap "Pair" or "OK" to connect your device to the charger.
How do I start the commissioning process?
Open the Installer Miles app, turn on Bluetooth on your mobile device, select your charger make and model, and scan the QR code or enter it manually.
After successful commissioning, will the charger continue to emit a Bluetooth signal?
After a successful commissioning, the charger will still show Bluetooth signal.
How long does the charger’s Bluetooth signal remain active?
There is no timeout for the charger’s Bluetooth signal, so it remains active as long as it is on.
Do we need to reboot the charger for its Bluetooth signal to become visible on the device?
The charger’s Bluetooth signal will remain active and visible from the time its switched on, and will show up even after it has been commissioned.
What is the password for the charger's Bluetooth connection?
The password for your EVIQ charger’s Bluetooth connection is “123456”. After entering the password tap "Pair" or "OK" to connect your device to the charger.
Is it necessary to manually connect to the charger's Bluetooth on the device?
It is not necessary to manually connect to the charger's Bluetooth signal outside of the Installer Miles app. The app initiates the connection, and the "Bluetooth Pairing Request" pop-up will appear for you to confirm the connection.
