No, a driver will not have access to emPACT.
What does it mean if a driver’s account status is “Disabled” in the Drivers List?
If a driver has not onboarded on the EM app yet, the user details will say that this account has not been activated yet. In that case, the user status in the main Drivers List table should be disabled.
Can a driver have more than one vehicle?
Yes, there can be multiple vehicles.

How do I bulk invite drivers?
For bulk invitations, you must upload an excel file with drivers' names and emails. A dropdown is presented to ask which user group to add them to. This is an optional field.
What happens when I initiate a single driver invite?
Upon inviting a single driver, the system saves the information and attaches the driver to the respective driver groups and its company. The user should show up in the company’s driver table if they are attached via the company.
How does the Driver Group dropdown work at Company level?
At Company level: Only user groups belonging to that company will show in the dropdown.

Can I assign a driver to a Driver Group when inviting them?
Yes. There is a Driver Group dropdown to connect the driver to any existing groups in the company.
What information is required to invite a single driver?
You must provide the email address of the driver. An email will be sent to the user as an invitation.
What options are available when adding a driver?

How do I add a new driver from the Drivers List?
There is a button on the top right of the Drivers List table to add a driver. When pressed, it opens the Add a Driver options.
What does the “Unlink” action do?
Unlink is only visible to CPO at the company level. It unlinks and removes the user from the company’s user group and revokes access to all chargers under this specific company.
What does the “Delete” action do?
The option to Delete is only visible to Enterprise. It deletes the driver account. The user also gets unlinked from the company automatically and gets deleted. If required, they can re-create their account and come back later.
What does “Disable Public Charging” do?
The option to Disable Public Charging is only visible to Enterprise. It disables public charging for the user. After this, they are only left with residential charging and company charging if they are part of any company.
What does it mean if public charging is disabled for a driver?
If public charging is disabled for a driver, they can only use residential charging. If they are part of a company, they can only residential charge or charge privately on company chargers.
What happens when a new driver joins the EM App?
Any driver joining the app is a public driver by default.
Is a driver always visible at the Enterprise level?
Yes. A driver is always visible on the Enterprise level. They must be added to a company to be part of it, but even if they are removed and unlinked from all companies, they will still be visible at the Enterprise level.

Can I charge my car for a specific duration?
Yes, you can not set a specific duration for charging. We offer continuous charging at the moment, meaning the charging will stop at the request of the charger, car or when charging will reach the holding amount.

How do I get access to a charger as a driver?
To access a charger, simply use the EV charging app to locate available chargers nearby. Select a charger and follow the on-screen instructions to initiate a charging session.
How do I understand the insights in the History section?
The History section displays the total energy consumed and the total cost for each charging session within a selected period. You can also review the receipt for each individual session to see a detailed breakdown of the charges.
What permissions do I have as a user?
There are three roles within a team: Owner, Admin, and User. Depending on your role, certain permissions may be customised or restricted.
Why does the charge point show as "Busy" when it is available?
There may be a delay in updating the status of the charge point due to the operator's system. Try refreshing the screen to get the most current status.
How can I view my receipts?
A receipt is displayed at the end of each charging session, detailing the total amount you will be charged. You can also access and review all your past receipts in the History tab.
What is a connection fee?
A connection fee is a one-time charge set by the operator, applied to every transaction regardless of the duration of your charging session.
What is a holding fee?
A holding fee is a temporary charge placed on your account by the operator when you start a charging session. The actual amount to be deducted will be finalised after the session ends, which may include additional fees such as a connection fee.
How do I delete my payment card from the app?
To delete your payment card details, go to Settings and select Payment Method. If you have cards saved on your account, you will see an option to delete the card by following the on-screen instructions.
How do I add card payment information?
To add a payment method, navigate to Settings and tap Payment Method. You can then enter your card details, including the card number, expiry date, and security code. The information will be securely stored in the app for future use.
